Mario Silva - Property Management Executive Vice President / COO

Mario Silva joined Moore in January 2018 as a Senior Vice President and is responsible for leading the property management group.  Mr. Silva has more than 25 years of commercial real estate experience, including asset management, acquisitions/dispositions and property management.

Prior to joing Moore, Mr. Silva was VP of Portfolio Management for First Potomac Realty Trust, where he was responsible for executing asset strategies.  He also served as Director of Property Management with Brookfield Office Properties.

Mr. Silva is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and is a certified LEED Green Associate.  He is a graduate of Catholic University with a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Management and a graduate of American University with a Master in Business Administration in Real Estate Finance and Urban Development.

Julia D. Taylor - General Manager, Texas Executive Vice President

Julia Taylor joined Moore in 2008 as Vice President to lead the firm’s Austin, Texas portfolio. Ms. Taylor's 25 years of commercial real estate experience includes leasing, property management, asset management, and tenant construction.

Prior to joining Moore, Ms. Taylor was with CB Richard Ellis as Director of Asset Services and managed a one million square foot portfolio. Ms. Taylor is a Certified Property Manager and past president of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).

Peter F. Doherty - Investments Senior Vice President

Peter F. Doherty joined Moore in April 2018 as Senior Vice President responsible for leading the firm's investment activities.  Mr. Dohery has 25 years of commercial real estate experience in all facets of principal investing on behalf of institutional, private, domestic and foreign investors primarily throughout the Mid-Atlantic and South Eastern US.

Prior to joing Moore, Mr. Doherty was a Principal with Griffith Properties, LLC, where he was responsible for executing investment strategies throughout the Washington, DC region.  Prior to Griffith, Peter held senior investment positions with KBS Realty Advisors and Lend Lease.

Mr. Doherty received his BA degree from Lake Forest College and completed additional coursework at the McIntyre School of Commerce at the University of Virgina and Johns Hopkins Masters in Real Estate programs.

Daniel Purrington - Leasing Vice President

Daniel Purrington joined Moore in 2017 and is responsible for leasing in the Virginia portfolio.  Mr. Purrington has 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry that includes leasing and portfolio management.

Prior to joining Moore, Mr. Purrington was Portfolio Manager at First Potomac and Vice President of Leasing at Brookfield Properties.  Daniel has a Master Degree in the Science of Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University and a BA in Real Estate Finance from James Madison University.

Ed Baca-Asher - Leasing Vice President

Mr. Asher joined Moore in 2010 as Leasing Manager to lead the firm's Maryland, Virginia and DC portfolios.  Ed has over 15 years of real estate experience.

Prior to joining Moore, Mr. Asher spent five years with Cushman & Wakefield as a leasing agent where he focused on tenant and landlord agency reprsentation in Suburban Maryland, and was responsible for over $45 million in transactions.  Prior to a career in commercial real estate, Mr. Asher worked as a paralegal for Linowes and Blocher, a leading real estate law firm in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area.  He worked in that firm's Land Uses and Tax Appeal practice areas.  Mr. Asher brings a unique quality and diversity to the firm.

William H. Wilmer - Construction Senior Vice President

Mr. Wilmer joined Moore in 2008. He is responsible for pre-acquisition budgeting, management of capital improvements, and tenant construction.

Prior to joining Moore, Mr. Wilmer was a Project Manager with HITT Contracting and worked as a consulting construction manager assisting owners with new construction and adaptive reuse projects. Mr. Wilmer is a LEED AP and has over 25 years of construction experience.

Gregory Beckman, CPA - Accounting Senior Vice President / Controller

Greg Beckman joined Moore in 2016 to lead the firm's accounting, tax and financial reporting functions. Mr. Beckman is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 25 years of accounting and financial reporting experience.

Prior to joining Moore, Mr. Beckman worked in accounting and financial management for several companies including Integrated Communication Solutions and Demore Development. Early in his career he was an active CPA with Linton, Shafer and Company in their Silver Spring and Frederick, MD offices. Mr. Beckman graduated cum laude from Mount Saint Mary's University with a BS in Accounting.
